Overview:
The Software Engineer is a crucial role in our organization responsible for designing developing and implementing software solutions to meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. As a Software Engineer you will play a key role in the entire software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing deployment and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
- Collaborate with team members to define design and ship new features
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Unittest code for robustness including edge cases usability and general reliability
- Translate design and wireframes into highquality code
- Participate in peer code reviews to ensure best practices and highquality code
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements
- Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior team members
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
- Proficiency in Java and other relevant programming languages
- Strong understanding of software development best practices
- Experience with software design and architecture principles
- Solid understanding of data structures algorithms and objectoriented design
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Knowledge of software testing and debugging
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Experience with cloud technologies is a plus
