Job Description :Key Responsibilities : - Requirements Gathering and Analysis : Actively participate in requirements gathering workshops, meticulously document user needs, and translate them into clear technical specifications for OAF-based solutions. - Page Layout and Region Design : Create user-friendly page layouts that adhere to best practices for usability and accessibility. Configure regions to display data effectively and provide seamless user interactions. - Component Development : Design and develop custom OAF components (controllers, bindings, task flows) using Java, XML, and JavaScript to meet specific functional requirements. - Integrations and Interfaces : Develop integrations with external systems using Oracle Application Integration Architecture (OAI) or other appropriate methods. - Data Manipulation and Reporting : Utilize SQL, PL/SQL, and reporting tools to retrieve, manipulate, and present data tailored to user requirements. - Implementation and Configuration : Solution Deployment: Configure and deploy developed OAF components into designated Oracle EBS environments, ensuring proper testing and validation. - Work Process Configuration : Configure system workflow and business processes to align with implemented solutions. - Data Conversion and Migration : Assist with data conversion and migration tasks necessary for new functionalities or system rollouts. - Support and Maintenance : Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure optimal responsiveness and user experience. - Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution : Effectively diagnose and resolve OAF-related issues, providing timely and accurate solutions. - Enhancement Requests : Analyze enhancement requests, define technical feasibility, and develop effective solutions if warranted. - Knowledge Sharing and Training : Participate in knowledge transfer activities, mentor junior team members, and provide training on OAF concepts and implementation practices. Technical Skills and Expertise : - Proficient in Oracle Applications Framework (OAF): Page layouts, regions, controllers, bindings, task flows, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Java - Deep understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, modules (iProcurement, IExpense, Purchasing, others as applicable)- Strong command of SQL, PL/SQL, and object-oriented programming (Java) - Expertise in development methodologies and best practices- Familiarity with Oracle Application Integration Architecture (OAI) or other integration technologies - Experience with version control systems like Git Non-Technical Skills and Qualities : - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders (functional users, developers, management) - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and concepts - Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently (ref:hirist.tech)
