Position- Factory Head
Reporting to: General Manager – Operations Job Location: Cheyyar, Chennai Education ▪ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. MBA would be an added advantage. Maximum Age bracket – 48 Yrs Experience ▪ 15+ years of overall experience in Packaging Industry / Out of which 8 to 10 years in Corrugation industry is mandatory. Production Management: Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets. Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and quality. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. Team Leadership : Lead and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success. Quality Assurance : Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards. Take corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and improve processes. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and standards to create a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as required. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure adequate raw material availability. Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize resources Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the corrugation sector. ▪ Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards. ▪ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. ▪ Knowledge of local language is mandatory Skills & Competencies ▪ The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, coupled with a proven track record in leadership within the corrugation sector. ▪ Strong expertise in production processes, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, will be pivotal for success in this confidential position. ▪ Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events. ▪ Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
