ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

Tesseract Esports is looking for an experienced and proactive accounting professional to join our team. As an accounts executive, you will be responsible for maintenance of books of accounts, ensuring all statutory compliances, ensuring compliance with applicable financial reporting standards, periodic budget & MIS preparation, managing accounts receivables & payables, liaising with auditors and finalization of accounts. You will report to the Director- Finance and CEO and will be working with other admin, operations and project staff.

Tesseract Esports was founded in 2015 with an intent to transform mobile gaming into professional esport. We were the first company to introduce mobile esports in South and Southeast Asia. Tesseract has since gone to partner with game publishers, brands to produce esports events and tournaments across Southeast Asia and went on to become the premier esports production services company in Southeast Asia. We are headquartered in Hyderabad, India and work closely with partners globally. 

We currently specialize in providing full and partial white-labeled tournament management, Broadcast and technology services for business seeking authentic esports engagements. We've recently worked with Krafton Inc, Super Evil Megacorp, Tencent Games, Razer, Mobcrush, Garena and several other partners on many successful live and online esports activations. 

Requirements/Skills

· Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills. 

· Proficient in using Tally ERP, Zoho Books and other similar accounting, ERP and filing software.

· Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite.

· Handling documentation with accuracy.

· Strong understanding of accounts preparation, accounting principles, financial management & budget preparation.

· Good knowledge of Income Tax, GST & Customs provisions. Good knowledge of labour laws.

· Strong analytical skills.

· Good time management, multi-tasking, problem solving and analytical skills.

· Ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast paced work environment.

You will be responsible for (not limited to)

· Preparation and maintenance of all books of accounts in a timely manner.

· Preparation and orderly maintenance of vouchers and supporting documentation for different transactions.

· Develop and maintain SOP for cash management, account payables, account receivables, credit control and petty cash.

· Preparing cash flow statement and making bank, vendor and customer reconciliation on weekly/monthly basis.

· Preparation of debtors/creditors ageing analysis reports on monthly basis and follow up with customers on realization of debts.

· Preparation of project budgets and making variance analysis.

· Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly P&L and Balance Sheet preparation.

· Regular periodic filing of tax returns under TDS, GST, professional tax and their payments within the prescribed time. Reconciliation of GSTR forms.

· Providing and oversight on tax, internal control and audit related matters.

· Invoicing to clients. Purchase order and quote preparation

· Payroll management.

· Liaising with auditors and finalization of accounts.

Your Experience 

3-10 years experience in accounting, finance or related field

Your academic qualifications

· UG: B.Com, CA-Inter

· PG (preferred): M.Com, MBA/PDGM in Finance, CMA
