We produce content for digital viewing as well as television & films. We also help brands amplify events & experiences through innovative, sometimes disruptive Marketing strategies.

About the role:
As an Art Director, you are required to bring ideas to life through your creative designs.
The role requires you to proactively provide feasible & innovative design solutions for events & activations. You are expected to have a strong understanding of 2D graphics, 3D stage and scenic designs and environmental graphics.
You shall be the point of coordination between all involved in the event-client, internal teams at Hyperlink including Client service, Production, Concept, Design as well as external agency partners.
The role reports to the Group Head.
Location: Work from office at Bangalore
Responsibilities:
1. Creative Output on briefs received:
- Meet with Client Service team/ Client & understand briefs
- Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research
- Visualise, brainstorm, ideate & transform ideas into effective designs/artwork/templates
- Sketch ideas whenever required
- Give direction, inputs, suggestions to the team on briefs
- Attend recces if required to get a fair idea of the event venue.
- Keen eye on design aesthetics- use a good sense of aesthetics & judge & visualise the right style of design.
- Create identity designs, environmental graphics, illustrations OR commercial art/ scenic designs, stage or exhibition designs and spatial designs.
- Create print files & art files that can be sent to printers for printing/ Create production files with specifications of all materials and ensure feasibility
- Being ahead of the curve to provide direction to the team & advice the client
- Incorporating latest trends in graphic design
- Updated knowledge of software and tools of the trade
2. Client Related Goals:
- Attend Client meetings whenever required
- Research on clients & brands so as to deliver an effective creative design; Staying updated on brand knowledge.
- Having the sensibilities to understand the brand, brand guidelines (colours), the client's core message, target audience and other needs of the client
- Ability to Present & explain designs to clients
- Uphold integrity of the brand by following ethical practices
- Project conversion for existing clients
- Project conversion for new clients
3. Project Management & Internal Coordination
- Adhering to internal/ client timelines
- Coordination with the concept team to ensure that the copy and design are in sync*
- Effective communication of the final art works to relevant internal departments-CS, production (for final execution).
- Working with the Production Department, oversee the print production process to ensure design integrity, color accuracy and image quality are met
- Working in tandem with other departments (Concept/CS/Production) to gain understanding of the consumer experience, marketing strategy and operational capabilities
Required Qualification, Experience & skills:
- Graduation in Design, Commercial Art, Applied Art; Master's degree/Diploma in Design (preferred)
- 5-7 years Design experience in the Events/Activations industry
- Basic knowledge on brands, Fabrication knowledge, Understanding of the printing process
- Well versed in designing softwares- 3D Max, Maya, Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Leadership Skills, Presentation Skills, Good Communication skills, Efficiency in delivering designs as per timelines, Ability to work long hours, Proficiency in MS Office
