The incumbent will be responsible to handle below tasks, reporting to AGM HR (Plant HR Head)

  1. Time Office Management: You would oversee the management of attendance, leave, and shift scheduling for plant employees. This would involve maintaining accurate records of employee attendance, managing time and attendance software, addressing attendance-related issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws.
  2. Payroll Management: You would be responsible for managing the plant’s payroll process, including calculation of salaries, wages, bonuses, and other compensation components. This would involve verifying and processing timesheets, ensuring compliance with tax laws and other statutory requirements, handling payroll-related queries from employees, and coordinating with finance and accounting teams.
  3. Manpower Planning: You would be involved in strategic workforce planning for the plant, which includes assessing current and future manpower needs, analyzing skill requirements, and developing plans to address any gaps. This would involve collaborating with plant managers and department heads to determine optimal staffing levels, recruitment strategies, and succession planning.
  4. Employee Benefits and Leave Management: You would oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Additionally, you would manage the plant’s leave policy, including processing leave requests, tracking leave balances, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  5. Compliance and Reporting: You would be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies related to time office, payroll, and manpower management. This would involve maintaining accurate records, preparing reports for management, and participating in audits as needed.
  6. Employee Relations: You would handle employee relations matters related to time office, payroll, and manpower, including addressing employee grievances, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  7. HRIS (Human Resource Information System) Management: You would oversee the management of HRIS software used for time office, payroll, and manpower functions. This would include system administration, data management, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  8. Training and Development: You may also be responsible for identifying training and development needs for HR staff and other employees involved in time office, payroll, and manpower functions. This may include developing and delivering training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
