Role Summary: Our client, a prominent player in the tech industry, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to spearhead key networking initiatives, focusing on deploying, migrating, and upgrading routers and switches. As the helm of this dynamic role, you will orchestrate cross-functional teams, ensuring the seamless and efficient execution of critical projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute detailed program plans for networking initiatives, aligning with the latest technological advancements and business goals. Lead diverse teams, including engineers, technicians, and external vendors, to ensure project milestones are met with precision and efficiency. Engage with stakeholders across multiple departments to gather network requirements, translating them into robust project plans with clear deliverables. Manage project risks and interdependencies, devising strategies to mitigate challenges and ensure smooth progression. Craft and maintain comprehensive project documentation, such as timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring transparency and accountability. Perform in-depth post-implementation analyses to extract insights and drive continuous improvement in project methodologies and network operations. Remain abreast of emerging networking technologies and trends, integrating this knowledge into project planning and execution. Regularly report on project performance, offering stakeholders insightful updates and ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. Foster strong relationships with vendors, upholding contract terms and service level agreements to guarantee exemplary service and support. Champion enhancements in network infrastructure, advocating for solutions that bolster reliability, performance, and future scalability. Collaborate with network professionals to devise and enact strategic network designs, ensuring the infrastructure meets evolving business demands. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supplemented by at least 7 years of relevant experience. Demonstrable success in managing complex IT infrastructure projects, particularly in networking. Profound understanding of networking fundamentals, including protocols, device functionalities, and security measures. Proficiency in network management tools and best practices, with a keen eye for detail and optimization. Excellent project management capabilities, underscored by a track record in scope, schedule, budget, and risk management. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across teams and departments. Agility in navigating fast-paced environments, either independently or as part of a team.
