Job description
# Lead and manage new product development projects for springs, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
# Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, production, and quality, to drive the successful execution of NPD projects.
# Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements.
# Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and create project plans to guide the NPD process.
# Perform design calculations, simulations, and prototyping to validate and optimize spring designs for performance, functionality, and manufacturability.
# Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements throughout the NPD process.
# Generate detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for new spring designs.
# Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to select and source materials and components for new products.
# Coordinate and participate in design reviews, testing, and validation activities to ensure product performance and quality
# Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the NPD process, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
# Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies related to springs and NPD methodologies.
# Provide technical support and guidance to the production team during the transition of new products to manufacturing.
# Monitor and track project progress, provide regular updates to management, and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the NPD process.
