Candidates need to be proficient in the below mentioned Tasks and domains:

Responsibilities:

Automation Strategy:

• Develop and implement the overall automation testing strategy for the project or product.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test scenarios for automation.

Test Planning and Design:

• Contribute to the creation of detailed test scripts based on project requirements.
• Identify and document test data requirements for automated testing.

Test Automation Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
• Ensure the scalability and maintainability of automated test suites.

Execution and Analysis:

• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with development and other teams to reproduce and debug issues reported through automation.

Continuous Integration and Delivery:

• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to automate the deployment and execution of test scripts.

Test Environment Management:

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to set up and maintain test environments for automated testing.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and standards.
• Contribute to the improvement of overall testing processes and methodologies.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain documentation related to automated test scripts, test cases, and testing processes. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience(5 – 8 years) as a Quality Analyst with a focus on automation.
• Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automated testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
