Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Team Leader to join our team at CFI. As the Accounting Team Leader , you will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, month -end & year-end closing.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger accounts
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes & record month end adjusting journal entries
• Prepare VAT & Income Tax computations and returns for the group
• Coordinate and participate in the preparation of the statutory financial reports & make sure they are completed on a timely and efficient manner
• Assist with the internal and external audit processes & provide required information/documents as needed
• Review accounting journal entries & validate them into the accounting system for CFI Jordan and its sisters' entities.
• Support the preparation of financial reporting packages for upper management
• Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant agreements
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
• Provides guidance to accounting staff to optimize performance, including monitoring workloads and related assignment to ensure completion of activities in time and quality
• Implement other tasks for his/her area of responsibility requested by the direct superior

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related field

Ability to work in different shifts (Sunday-Thursday) or (Monday-Friday)

A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting

Proven 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in an Accounting/Finance environment Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.

Fluency in Arabic & English

Advanced knowledge of Excel and various accounting software programs

High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency, especially when multitasking.

Good Knowledge in the financial brokerage field

Good Knowledge in the International Markets (FX, Equities, Commodities, etc).

Team player with good communication skills.
