Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prior experience of Leading team
- Must have experience in managing client and their queries independently
- Liaising with HMRC
- Calculate accurate wages, including any bonuses, salary increases or overtime.
- Calculate any tax or national insurance and pension contributions.
- Calculate statutory payments, such as maternity, paternity and sick leave.
- Should be able setup new company, process starters and leavers
- Ensuring timely RTI and Pension submissions
- Operating knowledge of Auto enrolment (AE) and Pension upload
- Handle and respond to discrepancies and queries relating to payroll.
Key Skills:
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Knowledge of UK payroll, taxes and payroll compliances.
- Computer skills in Word, Outlook and Excel with experience using spreadsheets and databases.
- Knowledge of Software - Eclipse, Xero, payrollmanager,Free Agent and other payroll software.
- Pension providers - Nest, Aviva, Peoplespension, smartpension, Salvarsmastertrust, nowpension, Truepotential
- Understanding of ongoing legislative changes which affect payroll.
