For more info about Katalon: As the Principal HR Business Partner for our India entity, you will play a pivotal role in driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, and talent management programs in the location in charge. This leadership position requires a seasoned HR professional with a deep understanding of Indian labor laws and regulations. You will collaborate with leadership to shape and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster a positive and high-performing work culture. The Principal HR Business Partner will report to the VP of Human Resources based in Vietnam. The job role and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Support sourcing candidates, conduct initial screening, and ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience for India-based applicants
  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent from India and nearby regions
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and Hiring managers to understand workforce needs and align recruitment efforts with organizational goals
  • Employee Engagement:
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction in the location in charge
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication, recognition programs, and employee development initiatives
  • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement
  • Talent Management Programs:
  • Develop and execute talent management programs to identify, nurture, and retain key talents
  • Implement succession planning and career development initiatives to support employees in their professional growth
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure effective performance management processes
  • Legal Compliance:
  • Stay updated on Indian labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices
  • Provide guidance to leadership on legal matters related to HR, addressing any potential risks
  • Strategic HR Partnership:
  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational objectives and provide HR insights and solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering guidance on HR-related issues and contributing to strategic decision-making

Requirements

  • Solid HR background with well-proven work experience in a fast-growing & global tech startup environment, demonstrating expertise in both strategic and operational aspects
  • High fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Global, open, and bright mindset - demonstrated experience working with the young generation workforce and experienced senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple time zones with different stakeholders
  • Bachelor or higher or equivalent degree in HR, Business, or related fields
  • Ability to think analytically and strategically and solve complex problems effectively
  • Hands-on and can-do attitude
