Job Title: Investor Relations/Business Development Manager with First Water Capital

Must be currently in Business Development for a fund or financial services firm Must have 4 years plus experience Must be an MBA Must be an all-rounder with flair The role has all elements from strategy to administrative responsibilities - must be able to do all Preferably have established investor relationships in the Industry with Family Offices, Fund distributers and wealth managers.

Overview: As an Investor Relations Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships between the organization and its investors. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate effectively with current and potential investors, ensuring transparency, trust, and satisfaction. You will be the key point of contact for all investor-related inquiries and work closely with various internal departments to relay pertinent information.

Key Responsibilities: Business development Go to conferences, Family Offices and other events to identify potential leads Maintaining dialogue with potential clients Write articles providing interesting insights on investment philosophy and the markets

Communication and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors. Act as the primary point of contact for all investor onboarding and inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Communicate the company's financial performance, strategies, and key developments to investors in a clear and compelling manner.

Investor Meetings and Conferences: Coordinate investor meetings, conference calls, and presentations. Organize and participate in investor roadshows to promote the company and attract potential investors.

Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities that may impact the company's performance and perception among investors.

Shareholder Services: Oversee the distribution of annual reports, proxy statements, and other shareholder communications.

Crisis Communication: Develop and implement communication strategies in the event of a crisis or significant corporate event, ensuring transparency and mitigating potential negative impacts on investors.

Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from investors to understand their concerns, expectations, and areas for improvement. Convey investor feedback to internal teams for strategic planning and decision-making.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting investor relations and ensure compliance with relevant securities laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CFA/CA) is a plus. Proven experience in investor relations, finance, or a related field. Strong understanding of financial markets, securities regulations, and corporate finance principles. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in financial analysis and reporting tools.
