Job description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled DevOps Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a strong background in Jenkins, Artifactory, Linux Server Upgrades, RPM, Debian, Docker, GIT, CI/CD, AWS Cloud, Serverless, and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities:
- DevOps Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Provide technical guidance and expertise in implementing best practices for DevOps processes.
- CI/CD Implementation: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Artifact Management: Administer Artifactory repositories for efficient management of artifacts and dependencies, ensuring secure and reliable access for development teams.
- Linux Server Upgrades: Plan and execute server upgrade activities, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of Linux servers in the infrastructure.
- Package Management: Proficient in managing packages using RPM and Debian, ensuring the integrity and security of software installations across different environments.
- Containerization: Utilize Docker for containerization and orchestration, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability of applications.
- Version Control: Manage and optimize Git repositories, branching strategies, and workflows to facilitate collaborative and version-controlled development.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure components.
- Serverless Architecture: Design and implement serverless architectures, leveraging AWS Lambda or similar technologies for efficient and scalable solutions.
- Container Orchestration : Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues and security threats.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to define and manage infrastructure as code, ensuring consistency and repeatability in deployments.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and documentation to support knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps roles.
- Proven expertise in Jenkins, Artifactory, Linux Server Upgrades, RPM, Debian, Docker, GIT, CI/CD, AWS Cloud, Serverless, and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of security best practices in DevOps environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
