About the Organization:
Saajha , a non-profit organization, is missioned to enable parents of children studying in government schools to be partners in their child’s education. We are building an ecosystem for parents to feel connected and supported in their efforts to impact the lives of children and drive transformative change. Saajha, since its inception in 2014, has worked across 2000+ schools in Delhi, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Karnataka. Listening to parents has been at the core of our work.
Saajha’s work has been recognized by the Echoing Green Fellowship, the Forbes India Award, the NASSCOM Award for technology, and the Action for India Tech Challenge.
About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated team player who can lead Saajha’s work with schools. Saajha is working with schools of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to connect with parents and support them in achieving their child’s foundational literacy and numeracy.
The program manager will lead a team of 3 team leaders and 17 school facilitators to work with 210 schools across Delhi. The number of schools will increase next year. The focus will be on connecting with approximately 2 lakh parents through schools and the community. The role will allow the candidate to work with Government stakeholders, schools, and the leadership team of Saajha.
Job Responsibilities-
Planning and executing a plan for schools and driving the execution through the support of the team
Working with Government stakeholders- Sharing update reports, attending meetings
To maintain and nurture a relationship with internal and external stakeholders
Leading a team of 3 TLs and school facilitators with honesty and integrity
Working closely with tech and data teams to work on the tech support to the team and understanding our work through data insights
To ensure achievement of the laid work plans and yearly target for the team both qualitative and quantitatively
To monitor the team regularly to ensure smooth implementation of the plan and provide necessary support
To idea and create a model for working in schools
Documenting the work with schools/community
Job Requirements-
Minimum 4-5 years of working experience in the development sector
Ability to plan and manage a large-scale project and ability to strategise at scale
Ability to manage a team- working with the team for their growth and development
Taking data-driven decision
Openness to experiment and innovate with technology.
Results-focused with a strong sense of ownership and ethics.

Able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Remuneration:
The salary will be in the range of Rs. 70,000 - 75,000 per month, negotiable for the right candidate.
