What you will do
- Leverage your extensive 8+ years of experience in native Android development to contribute to the creation and enhancement of mobile applications
- Utilize your 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kotlin to develop, test, and debug mobile applications effectively
- Apply expert knowledge in Kotlin, Coroutines, LiveData, Room, and Gradle to enhance the functionality of mobile applications
- Utilize your skills to build full offline apps, ensuring seamless user experiences in both online and offline environments
- Stay abreast of the latest Android mobile development trends and design patterns, incorporating them into the product development process to keep the apps competitive in the industry
- Demonstrate strong skills in object-oriented and reactive design, ensuring the scalability and maintainability of the developed applications
- Apply a deep understanding of engineering software processes, lifecycle methodology, configuration management, release management, and system verification and testing
- Optimize network service stacks for improved performance, addressing issues such as reduced load times and minimized battery drain across all connection levels
- Apply strong knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming techniques on Android platforms
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to ensure smooth integration between the mobile app and backend systems
- Demonstrate leadership by leading projects and mentoring other engineers within the team
- Effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced work environment, ensuring collaboration and synergy between different teams

- Proven expertise in native Android development with a minimum of 8 years of practical experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kotlin, Coroutines, LiveData, Room, and Gradle
- Profound expertise in Kotlin coroutines, reactive programming with Kotlin Flow, interface-driven development, proficient use of the Handler class for threading, and execution of background operations through AsyncTask or other modern methodologies in Android development
- B Tech/BE degree with a specialization in computer science or equivalent degree from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges
