About Our Client Our client is a leading global alternative asset management firm with $212 billion of assets under management and investment and operational teams around the world Job Description Financial Reporting:
Interact with portfolio company management and/or the fund's investment professionals to collect, validate and report portfolio company financial information, analyze for reasonableness and report on unusual fluctuations.
Manage and enhance database of portfolio company financial and operating information and onboarding/training of new portfolio companies.
Provide ad-hoc support regarding LP requests, conferences, meetings, and other Firm priorities as required.Portfolio Analysis:
Monitor current business, industry, competitive set, and economic developments that may impact portfolio company performance.
Creatively and proactively analyze the fund's current and historical performance to help the organization learn.
Review and drive the portfolio company contracts and recovery process for services provided.
Create content and training for quarterly meetings. Work with administrative team to ensure the Operations calendar, events and key deadlines are managed and meaningful. Drive content preparation and coordination for periodic team meetings.
Operating as a change agent, working with cross-functional teams in portfolio companies to drive results through day-to-day operations and transformation projects.
Serve as culture carrier for the group and ensure firm connectivity.
The Successful Applicant Bachelor's or Post-Grad degree in business, economics, accounting or finance.
Minimum of 6-8 relevant work experience required, preferably with a mix of consultancy and/or corporate strategy experience.
Strong financial, quantitative, budgeting and project management skills, including a high attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong excel and powerpoint skills.
Highly analytical, strategic, intellectually curious and detail-oriented, with a commitment to excellence and a passion for understanding the business implications of financial results.
Confident, self-motivated, and customer-focused. A consultative approach to working with peers and counterparties.
Proven skills in developing strong working relationships with senior executives.
Proactive and capable of successfully managing several tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to dive in / pitch in to get the job done: a sincere team player.
