Job description
Hospitality Intern:
Guest Services: Engaging in guest interactions, providing assistance, and ensuring a positive experience.
Reservations Management: Learning to manage reservations efficiently, utilizing booking systems, and optimizing room allocations.
Front Desk Operations: Participating in front desk activities, including check-in/out, key issuance, and handling billing processes.
Event Coordination: Assisting in the planning and execution of events, developing skills in logistics and organization.
Customer Service: Addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Administrative Tasks: Contributing to administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborating with various departments to understand the holistic operation of the hospitality industry.
Learning Standards: Exposure to industry standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
Professional Development: Gaining valuable experience for personal and professional growth within the hospitality sector.
Culinary Intern:
Kitchen Assistance: Supporting chefs in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Menu Development: Participating in menu planning and contributing creative ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
Food Safety: Learning and implementing proper food safety and hygiene practices in the kitchen.
Ingredient Management: Assisting in inventory control, procurement, and ensuring freshness of ingredients.
Cooking Techniques: Acquiring hands-on experience in various cooking techniques and methods.
Collaboration: Working closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Quality Control: Participating in quality checks to maintain the standard and consistency of dishes.
Kitchen Organization: Contributing to the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen space.
Learning Culinary Arts: Gaining exposure to diverse cuisines and enhancing skills for future culinary endeavors.
A degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and at least one
year of prior related work experience in his/her occupational field acquired outside the United States, or
Combination of study + work experience in the total of 5 years or more or
Five years of work experience outside the United States in his/her occupational field, and who enters the
United States to participate in a structured and guided work-based training program in his/her specific
occupational field.
* 10$ to 20 $ stipend per hour (40 hour work permit )
* pre and post immigration support.
