About the department

Global IT India is a team of 700+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of Global IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Manufacturing IT is the unit responsible for many global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. In Global IT, we drive projects, manage critical IT systems, services and infrastructure used along the entire value chain of Novo Nordisk.

The Position

As a systems Manager, you will be responsible for managing the PEMS out of – Manufacturing IT department in Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT), India in co-operation with– Manufacturing IT department in Corporate IT, Denmark.

You will be responsible for:

• Supervising the day-to-day usage, operation, and maintenance of the computer system, providing user training and support as needed. You will contract services from suppliers and vendor as needed.
• Validation of computer systems and application service, IT security procedure, prepare requirement specification for computer systems and manage the configuration in IT. You will manage users of computer systems and assess computer systems risks. You shall have strong Compliance and GxP and Empower experience.
• Manage major incidents and disaster recovery in IT. You will manage System Transition as directed by management. You will manage finance & budget along with contracts management for systems.
• Play a key role in system audits with end responsibility of making sure the system follows compliance policy & guidelines. You will drive/participate in work related to implementation of system enhancements or feature releases. You will be responsible for the delivery of system and support services and ensuring that they meet business requirement in co-ordination with Line of Business.
• Demonstrate good understanding of ITIL, system management experience in Change management, Configuration management, Release management and Incident & Problem management. System budget planning and management

Qualification

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree or similar graduate degree in relevant fields (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) and relevant business experience.
• 8+ years of experience within IT and minimum 4+ of years in IT Systems management/IT Service delivery management. Overall, 3-4 years of relevant system management/service management experience within GxP regulated industry. You shall have 3+ years of handling GxP systems, Pharma industry and participating in audits (internal and external).
• Excellent in communication skills written and spoken English. You shall demonstrate the ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders, both internal and external at all levels. You Shall collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily with users. You should hold global mind set, cross-cultural understanding, ability to operate and achieve results in a virtual and international IT operation.
