JD ¿ ITSM 24*7 Engineer L3 ¿ AWS, DevOps Application, Linux Skilled ITSM 24/7 Engineer with expertise in application Linux debugging to join our dynamic team. As an ITSM Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and availability of our critical business applications running on Unix based systems. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving application related issues, collaborating with cross functional teams, and implementing proactive measures to optimize system performance. Responsibilities:

- Ticketing Tools (Basic Jira, ServiceNow) any one ¿ Application troubleshooting and debugging: Investigate and diagnose complex application issues on Unix based systems. Analyze logs, perform root cause analysis, and propose and implement solutions to ensure the continuous operation of critical applications. ¿ Incident management: Respond to application related incidents, perform initial triage, and initiate the appropriate resolution processes according to ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices. Collaborate with other support teams to restore services within defined service level agreements (SLAs). ¿ Change and release management: Participate in the planning, testing, and implementation of application changes and releases. Ensure that changes are properly documented, tested, and deployed without impacting production environments. ¿ Performance optimization: Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement optimizations, such as code enhancements, configuration changes, or capacity adjustments. ¿ Documentation and knowledge sharing: Create and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, runbooks, and knowledge base articles. Share knowledge with team members and other stakeholders to enhance the collective understanding of application behavior and debugging techniques. ¿ Incident prevention and automation: Identify recurring issues and contribute to the development of preventive measures and automation scripts to minimize the impact of future incidents. Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes. ¿ Collaboration and communication: Work closely with cross functional teams, including developers, system administrators, network engineers, and database administrators, to resolve complex application related issues. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non technical, to provide updates, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure timely incident resolution. Qualifications: ¿ Technical expertise: Strong experience in Unix based application troubleshooting and debugging, with proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting. Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in Unix environments (e.g., Java, Python, Perl) is a plus. ¿ ITSM knowledge: Understanding of IT Service Management principles and best practices, particularly incident, change, and release management. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and certification (ITIL Foundation) is desirable. ¿ Application monitoring and performance analysis: Experience using monitoring tools and log analysis tools to proactively identify and resolve performance issues. Familiarity with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) solutions is advantageous. ¿ Problem solving skills: Strong analytical and problem solving abilities to investigate complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
