Job Description Position: AWS System Engineer Job Type: Full Time Job Location: Bangalore, India, IN.
Roles and Responsibilities: The AWS System Engineer primary responsibilities are to configure AWS Cloud Management and to monitor carefully and manage its services. These are the most critical responsibilities and need to be engaged with high priority and perfection. The AWS System Engineer will have four primary responsibilities: 1. To configure the AWS cloud management services, and 2. To monitor and manage these services carefully, and 3. Ensure that we are compliant with AWS best practices, and 4. Ensure that we have guardrails and alerts in place to protect us from usage and spend anomalies. The other responsibilities of the AWS System Engineer include: • Develop metrics and carefully monitor the health or utilization of AWS resources on a full scale by making use of highly complex Amazon CloudWatch. • Be responsible for the implementation of AWS cloud infrastructure. • Build, release, and manage the configuration of production systems. • Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions. • Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the organization / support. • Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all platforms. • Maintaining a backup of the resources is a critically important responsibility. The administrator has to perform AWS on-premises resource backups from time to time by making extensive use of AWS services. • To reduce the time required for the building production environments, this person should be capable of deploying automation infrastructure using AWS Cloud Formation. • Creating and managing VPC, URL proxies, access points & as well as Bastion Hosts. • Communicate with the network team to complete the network connections for the clients VPCs. • Responsible for continually looking to optimise resource utilisation where possible, tag resources for managing costs, and for planning, budgeting, governance, and reporting. • To efficiently monitor billing and to develop cost optimization strategies. The Role will also include: • Managing full AWS Lifecycle, Provisioning, Automation and Security. • Setting up and administering multi-tier computer system circumstances. • Configure and fine-tune cloud infrastructure systems. • For performing software upgrades. Kernel patching, errata patches. • Monitor availability and performance extent. • Monitor effectively charging and cost optimization strategies. • Manage disaster recovery and create backups. • Maintain Data Integrity and access control while you use AWS application platform. • The ability to be a team player. • The ability and skill to train other people in procedural and technical topics. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Previous Experience: • A solid background in Linux and Windows server system administration. • Preferably AWS certificated with 2-3 Years’ experience delivering services. • Experience building environments on AWS, which includes working with services such as EC2, ELB, RDS, and S3 (Deployment of AWS ELB OR EC2 OR RDS OR S3) is required. • Experience with serverless architecture deployments using ECS, Fargate, Lambda SQS, SNS and RDS would be preferred. • Strong scripting experience with the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI) • Experience with scalable, container-based software architectures, using Docker containers, and automation with ECS and EKS • Familiarity with the AWS Well Architected Framework and AWS security best practices. • Knowledge of AWS Textract would be beneficial. Certification: • A minimum of AWS certified Cloud Practitioner Certification • AWS certified Solution Architect – Associate Certification would be preferred. The AWS System Engineer is responsible for managing, using and operating systems on the AWS platform. They also are responsible for maintaining and managing the AWS infrastructure company and managing the bills and optimize the costs.Job tags
