Mashreq has undertaken implementation and expansion of Trade Finance platform to GCC counties and International Banking locations.
This job is being created to support this expansion and to reinforce the new Trade Finance Technology platform within the bank. The person in the role will act as the Techno-Functional Expert and System Analyst and its interactions/dependencies with other bank systems and country applications/networks. Key Result Areas • Tech-Analyst for Trade Finance applications; Work in partnership with GTB Product Owners, Business Analyst, and other Technology teams. • Domain knowledge of Trade products like Letter of credit, Bank guarantee, Bills, documentary collections etc. and exposure to Banking applications/platform. • Should be able to understand Business requirements and translate this to vendor specific documents. • Should be able to Setup, Manage and validate build from vendor. • Active engagement with the entire product organization with consideration to business drivers, anticipate roadblocks, encourage contributions from the entire QA and quickly address concerns. • Perform deployments, Measure impacts, gather issues Information and Coordinate with vendor on Issues Resolution. • Analyze System issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis and participation in decision for issues prioritization. • Support SIT, Regressions, Performance tuning and integrations - Strategy, Scenarios, and cases. • Perform Impact assessments of Change Request on Implemented product and facilitate Production deployments. • Support business and Operations through various Testing Cycles and work as per defined SLA Vendor. • Should manage and Track System Performance, Participate technically and functionally in process optimization. • Coordinate product training for Business & Operations users. Stakeholder Management and Leadership • Manage Key stake holders during Business process interactions and reviews. • Manage Technology stakeholders for deployments. • Provide innovative solutions and influence senior management to take critical decisions by providing recommendations. • Customer centricity - evaluates client’s needs and identifies ways to address key challenges; develops partnerships and strategy to ensure market demand. Strategic Thinking • Optimize technology solution delivery based on business requirements, existing applications, latest technology trends, total cost to operate, scalability and stability. • Provide innovative approaches to Business problems by utilizing existing applications / recommending enhancements. • Strategic thinking skills – ability to anticipate upcoming trends and changes in the broader environment and apply them to create competitive advantage for Mashreq. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science or Postgraduate 12+ years’ experience in experience with Corporate Banking implementation. Should have 7+ years of working experience in Trade Finance Solutions. Techno functional and hands on experience of Trade product life cycle Import letter of credit, Bank guarantee, Bills, documentary collection etc. Candidates should have experience in Oracle Trade finance (OBTF/OBTFPM). Candidate having experience in Oracle Core Banking (Flexcube) application will be preferred. Hands on experience of Oracle database, SQL, Java, Microservices, Restful APIs. Well versed with SDLC, Quality processes and Change Management concepts. Good knowledge of SWIFT, Payments Gateways, client browsers and configurations etc. Cross border team working experience. Strong interpersonal communication skills Excellent Business Process Management Experience Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation. Ability to interpret solution documentation, identify areas of concern, and recommend approach. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment. Ability to document requirement specs for large scale banking applications. Ability to communicate clearly with business users and Tech lead. Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support.Job tags
