Job description
This role is open to candidates in India, who may work remotely or out of our Bangalore office. Schedule adjustments will sometimes be required in order to attend virtual meetings with colleagues in other time zones.
What will you do
- Prepare payroll reconciliations and various payroll reports as needed
- Perform internal audits of payroll accounts
- Maintain all payroll-related records
- Process remittances and generate payroll reports
- Process new hires, changes, and terminations in the payroll system
- Prepare and process Full and Final settlements
- Participate in the project team for the implementation of a new payroll and HRIS tool
- Research and interpret payroll-related legislation
- Manage all month-end and year-end processes for payroll
- Identify and recommend payroll process and plan improvements
- Organize and file employee payroll forms and documents
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What will you bring to RamSoft
- 2+ years of experience working with payroll in India; knowledgeable of relevant legislation and best practices
- Previous experience with payroll and/or HRIS software
- Skilled with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc)
- High degree of written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision and a high level of attention to detail
What will make you really stand out
- Experience using greytHR, Ceridian, Bamboo, and/or UKG Pro
- Experience using Jira or other support ticketing systems
- Previous experience with a payroll tool migration/implementation
