Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Manager in day-to-day operations, supervising staff, managing laundry services, and ensuring exceptional customer service. It is essential that the Assistant Housekeeping Manager maintain a sharp eye for detail, while simultaneously managing staff, and guaranteeing excellent communication with guests.

Qualifications

• Supervisory Skills: Ability to lead and motivate staff, while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace culture.
• Laundry: Prior experience with commercial laundry services, and knowledge of advanced cleaning methods and products.
• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and the ability to handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, as well as knowledge of local languages.
• Hiring: Prior experience in recruiting new team members, interviewing potential candidates, and helping to ensure the training and development of new staff.
• Additional training and certifications such as Housekeeping Management or hospitality related courses will be given priority.
