Designation- Manager- Demand Planning & Forecasting

Job Statement

This person will be responsible for creating effective inventory plans and strategies to maximize profitability for an organization.

Responsibilities:

· He must predict future inventory needs and producing plans for buying based on forecasts and sales data.

· Review stock levels, imbalances and data integrity to ensure the supply plan is generating accurate information

· Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of as part of a demand planning function.

· Analyze market trends, customer demand, and sales data to make informed purchasing decisions.

· Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstock situations, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to align product offerings with market demands.

· Implement and enhance processes for demand forecasting, inventory management, and order fulfillment.

· Implement MRP planning that identify capacity constraints and predict upcoming inventory need and maintain stock requirements.

· Review MRP reports daily and adjust inventory levels as needed for different marketplace channels and warehouse locations.

· Continual cost reduction in logistics and D2C orders. New vendor onboarding.

· RTO, RTD issues, escalations, and closure for D2C orders.

· POD Updating tracking and verifier.

· Monitoring customer complaints related to delivery experience, timely action and closure.

· Working as POC for the sales team for D2C operations.

· Inventory planning for all online ecommerce platforms responsible for handling the Shopify store backend, inventory management, optimising and managing tools for shopify.

· Managing Facilities & Processes related to e-commerce business,

· Managing relationship with courier partners and ensuring smooth delivery experience for the end consumer.

· Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting. Summarize/aggregate statistical forecasts.

· Dispatch coordination with Dispatch team and last mile delivery

 

Skill Requirement:

· Have a good understanding on business process and planning and forecasting model

· Supply Chain background will be preferable and ability to drive cross-functional team, and lead coordination meeting

· Advance in Excel skills

· 2-4 years of experience in Supply Chain preferable in ecommerce/retail business.
