As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our team.
Job Summary: Â The QA/QC Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of engineering projects related to the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to final delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement QA plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish and maintain quality objectives and key performance indicators.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor and inspect engineering processes and deliverables to identify and rectify deviations from established standards.
- Perform in-depth analysis of project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct material inspections, testing, and verification to guarantee compliance with specifications.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive QA/QC reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality-related activities, including test results and inspection reports.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to project teams on quality assurance and control procedures.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay current with industry regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Interface with regulatory agencies and third-party inspection teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical)
- 3-5 years experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
- Ability to work competently on site.
