Job description
We are seeking a Sales Manager for our Dubaibased operations who will spearhead our dynamic sales team within a rapidly growing company. This pivotal role will be integral to our B2C sales function focusing on achieving enrolment targets for our courses catering to both the local and international markets. Reporting directly to senior management this position requires a driven individual capable of driving new customer acquisition and motivating our sales teams to surpass set targets. Experience within the Edtech industry is a prerequisite for this role.
Responsibilities:
Sales Target Achievement:
- Drive new customer acquisition efforts
- Convert leads from diverse marketing channels into sales
- Provide direct management and mentorship to sales counselors fostering revenue growth through direct sales and telesales
- Achieve targeted topline revenues as outlined in the business plan
Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and promotional activities to boost sales for various products
- Gain insights into student requirements and contribute to product enhancements based on feedback and interactions
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a diverse team of 30 sales professionals
- Conduct training on effective calls sales pitches and objection handling
- Establish and ensure team targets are met
- Brainstorm and implement crossselling and upselling strategies
- Devise monthly incentive structures aligned with targets
- Oversee recruitment processes including interviews and hiring of new team members
Reporting and Audits:
- Continuously monitor team performance using key metrics
- Report overall team performance including metrics such as weekly/biweekly revenue per salesperson and average revenue per salesperson
- Conduct regular audits in our CRM system to ensure optimal lead utilization by team members
Requirements
Requirements:
- 8 10 years of proven sales experience
- Demonstrated track record of managing teams of 10
- Exceptional communication and management abilities
- Indepth understanding of conversion rates within the industry
- Strong customer focus with a salesoriented mindset
- Proficiency in CRMs and Sales automation tools
- Expertise in MS Office suite
- Skilled in objection handling
Expected Deliverables/KPIs:
- Maintain a robust lead funnel to achieve desired sales targets
- Enhance and sustain sales conversion rates
- Monitor call and sales counselor productivity
- Ensure peak team productivity to meet monthly sales objectives
Required Experience And Qualifications Enthusiastic engagement in student-facing roles for a minimum of 8+ years. Proven leadership experience within ed-tech or student-centric environments. Track record of inspiring and guiding teams of 10-15 individuals towards collective success and growth. Vibrant and optimistic mindset, adept at leveraging analytical skills for creative problem-solving. Demonstrated ability to navigate and resolve challenging situations, ensuring a delightful experience for students at every step.
