The Big Picture

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Market Acquisition Manager to join our team. The Market Acquisition Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new customers and expand our market reach. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, as well as overseeing sales responsibilities to identify new opportunities and drive growth.

What you can expect as a Market Acquisition Manager at Illumine-i:

The role of a Market Acquisition Manager for the Construction Engineering Business Unit will include the following responsibilities.

Market Analysis and Research: You'll conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential target segments, industries, and geographic areas for expansion within Construction Engineering services including but not limited to BIM Services, and Engineering Design services. You'll analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.

Strategy Development: You'll develop strategic plans and initiatives to acquire new customers and penetrate new markets within the construction and engineering sectors. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align acquisition strategies with overall business objectives.

Lead Generation and Conversion: You'll implement lead generation strategies through various channels including digital marketing, partnerships, events, and direct outreach tailored to the Construction Engineering. You'll optimize conversion funnels and sales processes to maximize the conversion of leads into customers.

Sales Oversight: You'll work closely with the sales team to provide strategy, guidance, and resources for effective customer acquisition within the construction and engineering industries. You'll develop sales enablement materials, training programs, and tools to empower the sales team to succeed. You'll monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Campaign Management: You'll plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns tailored to the Construction Engineering sectors to generate awareness and interest among target audiences. You'll utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance and ROI.

Relationship Management: You'll build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry influencers within the construction and engineering sectors to support acquisition efforts. You'll collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless handoff and onboarding of new customers.

Performance Tracking and Reporting: You'll establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of acquisition strategies within the Construction Engineering. You'll regularly analyze and report on performance metrics, trends, and insights to management and stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred. Proven experience (8 years) in marketing, business development, or related roles within the construction and engineering sectors, with a focus on customer acquisition and market expansion. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
