As a Developer in the Ad Engineering area, you will be working with world class R&D teams to develop game-changing low-latency applications that will help deliver ads in few 100 milli seconds. We believe that ‘code speaks louder than words’ and expect everyone at every level in the engineering team to be comfortable with rolling up their sleeves, firing up their favorite IDE and writing clean, testable and well-designed code. You will be contributing to core project of Ad serving with millions of impressions per day and in providing platform to scale machine learning models. In this role you will work with a team of energized developers, and will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of one or more areas, including architecture, design, coding, deployment etc. Roles and Responsibilities : Participate in design, architecture and code reviews across different work streams Be a strategic planner, with the ability to grasp the nuances of the business and can drive decisions with the Product Team Craft pixel perfect components which are robust and highly reusable Understand legacy code bases and refactor, by applying design patterns & best practices Get mentored by Leading Engineers; also, mentor and train other junior team members on design techniques, and coding standards Contribute to RnD for new stack research and better solutions. Who should apply for this role? We like people with strong educational qualification (B.Tech, BE, BSC.IT, MCAs) but we won’t ding you if you’re self-taught or just born brilliant. 3-5 years of experience in web development Good problem-solving skills, and logical thinking Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, such as closures, prototype, callbacks, event loop, promises, Object oriented programming and Web concepts Extensive knowledge of and experience with React and its core principles, and ReactJS eco-system (Redux, Immutable, React Query, Saga and other libraries) Knowledge of newer specifications in ECMAScript (ES6, ES7) Experience in Test-Driven Development (Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, Chai) Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools Good to have knowledge in Node / PHP Open-source contribution is a plus Good communication Skills & should be able to understand the requirements clearly Our front-end tech stack React (with Redux, redux saga, reselect), Vue We style using : Styled components, cssinjs, SASS We bundle using : Webpack Version control : Git Frontend tooling : Storybook Testing : Jest, cypress What are we building: Big Data Visualization & querying tools based on multiple data sources like Time-series, RDBMS, Hadoop & others Complex Ad inventory management tools with multiple entities and live reporting Highly optimized dashboards which are customized at granular level Ways to reuse existing platforms along side new products with a native approach and minimal development in order to increase efficiency We are working toward implementing theme based micro frontend architecture in all our client-side apps.
