Job description
- This role involves the collection, processing and interpretation of data relating to travel and meeting expenses incurred by GSK employees.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting software such as Power BI, Excel, Tableau or specific T&E/M&E management software may be particularly valuable.
- This role requires a good understanding of travel and meetings industry practices and systems (Cvent/SpotMe) in order to effectively support GSK employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Cvent system administration (managing user access and licenses, manage the GLT approval process, ensure that meetings and events registered in Cvent comply with internal policies)
- Collaborates with Procurement teams to support the sourcing process
- Support desk for GSK employees for Cvent queries
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from Cvent/SpotMe to provide insights into meetings and events spending. These reports can be used for decision-making by management
- Analyze meetings and events data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. This analysis can help identify areas where cost savings or policy adjustments are needed
- Collect, organize, and maintain data related to travel, expenses and meetings
- Audit hotel commissions
- Present findings and insights through data visualization tools and techniques, making it easier for stakeholders to understand and act upon the information
- Be proficient in using travel, expense and meetings reporting software and tools to streamline data collection and reporting processes
- Identify and solve complex reporting/card issues related to travel, expense and meeting expense data, such as discrepancies or fraudulent activities
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in travel and expense management to suggest improvements in processes and policies as well as reporting automation
