Nature of Job :
This role is part of the Events team within the M3 org in Flipkart. The Events team is responsible for orchestrating and executing all Sale events & Occasions. As a planning manager, you will be primarily responsible for traffic & demand planning for the platform and driving adherence during events and occasions.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Plan for the right traffic numbers across Channels and BUs which would serve as input for relevant stakeholders
- Drive these traffic requirements with both Storefront and marketing/media teams, ensuring top of the funnel is being met.
- Align the plan through multiple analytical approaches (trendlines, spikes etc.)
- Align the demand plans for events and occasions from traffic, units & GMV point of view.
- Highlight the demand risks with both the central DP team and BUs
- Work in ambiguity and come up with framework/SOP on intrigue planning, marketplace mix, PPV and UVs.
- Would be SPOC for all Planning related tasks for BBD planning
- Liaison between all key stakeholders (central DP, BU POCs, Marketing, PBO) & ensure seamless workflow.
Preferred Experience & Skills :
- 2 years of e-commerce experience in Demand/Sales/marketing planning
- Hands on experience in analytics tools, SQL, MS-Excel
- Very strong analytical skills & approach
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to express thoughts logically & succinctly.
