JOB Summary

Mahindra Group - Looking for Data Engineer in experience with AWS/GCP Cloud and SQL.

Work Experience : 3-7 Years

• Location : Mumbai
• Compensation : 10 - 30 LPA

Education : UG Degree as BE/B.Tech

OR PG Degree ( MBA/MCA/MSc/ME/M.Tech,MS)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and execute low-latency, high-availability, and high-performing applications.
• Develop reusable, efficient, testable, and scalable code using Python programming language.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers to support application development and data analysis.
• Coordinating with development teams to determine application requirements.
• Reprogramming existing databases to improve functionality.
• integrate front-end components into applications.
• Manage testing and bug fixes.
• Prepare technical documentation.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code.
• Coach junior team members.
• Assessing and prioritizing client feature requests.
• Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements.

Requirements and skills

· 3-7 years of experience as a Python developer.

· Good hands-on experience on AWS / GCP

· Hands on experience on AWS-RDS, Redshift, EMR, Glue, step function, lambda, S3 / Hands on experience on GCP-Big Query, Dataflow, Airflow, GCS, function, looker, data studio

· Decent understanding of data governance

· Expert knowledge of Python and related frameworks including Django ,Flask etc and libraries like Pandas, NumPy etc

· A deep understanding and multi-process architecture and the threading limitations of Python.

· Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries.

· Hands-on experience in different domains, like database architecture, business intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, big data, etc.

· Ability to integrate multiple data sources into a single system.

· At least 2 years of experience in the field of cloud computing.

· Understanding of core cloud services, uses, and cloud architecture best practices

· Understanding of NoSQL

· Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework is a plus

· Ability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required.

· Attention to detail

· Leadership skills

· Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications preferred.

· Good communication and collaboration skills.
