Job description
Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute comprehensive test programs for network equipment manufacturers, data centres, network operators, electric utilities, and smart cities
. • Develop and implement test strategies, methodologies, and procedures for ensuring product certifications and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements, design test cases, and analyze test results.
• Utilize your strong understanding of switching, routing, and VOIP protocols to perform in depth testing and analysis.
• Apply your programming and automation skills in Python, Perl, and Shell to develop test scripts and automate testing processes.
• Demonstrate expertise in conformance testing of TCP/IP protocols - IPv6, OSPF v2/v3, BGP v4/v6, MBGP, LDP, STP, SIP, MGCP, and other related protocols.
• Utilize your virtualization skills with platforms such as VMware, KVM, and Containers to perform network testing in virtualized environments
. • Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies like SDN, NFV, and OpenStack, and contribute to testing efforts in these areas.
• Collaborate with wireless testing teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of wireless technologies.
• Possess industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or equivalent to showcase your expertise in the field. Qualifications
: • 2-4 years of prior work experience in the development or testing of networking products and solutions.
• Strong understanding of switching, routing, and VOIP protocols. • Proficiency in programming and automation using Python, Perl, and Shell.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols - IPv6, OSPF v2/v3, BGP v4/v6, MBGP, LDP, MPLS TP, STP, SNMP, SIP, MGCP, and other related protocols.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, KVM, and Containers.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA / CCNP or equivalent are a must.
• Experience in Wireless testing, SDN-NFV, OpenStack, and ISO17025 process is desirable
