Position: Lead Engineer - Embedded C, AUTOSAR BSW & MCAL in the Automotive Sector
Role Type: Individual Contributor Industry Focus: Automotive Education: Graduate in Electronics and Computer Science (BE, B.Tech, or M.Tech) Key Qualifications & Skills:- Essential: 8 to 12 years of experience in embedded software design and development- Experience in automotive software development with a focus on functional safety processes (familiarity with ISO 26262, PART6 is desirable)- Proficiency in AUTOSAR architecture and development workflows- Leadership and team management experience- Competency in AUTOSAR components configuration and integration- Expertise in embedded software development- Proficiency in model-based software development (MBD) using Simulink- Ability to analyze customer specifications and prepare software requirement specifications- Capability to create software development plans using WBS- Skilled in software design and documentation using UML diagrams- Proficient in software design and code review based on quality and safety process checklists- Desirable: Experience in Battery Management System (BMS) development- Motivated by learning new technologies, process improvement, customer satisfaction, and team collaboration Desired Experience:- Previous experience in team management- Proficiency in communicating with customers- Experience working within the automotive sector Responsibilities:- Serve as a software designer/developer for battery management systems- Collaborate with the software manager/leader to devise software development plans based on customer requirements- Define processes based on QMS (DR-AT standard) and functions based on requirements- Resolve technical issues by providing solutions, debugging, and analysis- Lead and guide the team towards achieving results-oriented goals Please note that this role is focused on individual contribution and leadership within the automotive domain, with a strong emphasis on embedded software design and development in compliance with industry standards and best practices.Job tags
