Job Overview

We are seeking a Design Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team at Trident Dispatch. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software, working closely with the product development team to bring concepts to reality. This is a full-time position located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions and work on exciting projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in design engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software
• Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D design principles
• Experience in product design and development
• Familiarity with sheet metal design and manufacturing processes
• Ability to provide presales support and collaborate with customers
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Passion for design and innovation

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs and drawings using CAD software
• Collaborate with the product development team to transform concepts into practical designs
• Conduct feasibility studies and ensure designs meet technical requirements and standards
• Evaluate and analyze design options to determine the most cost-effective solutions
• Perform calculations, simulations, and tests to validate design concepts
• Support prototype development and testing
• Prepare technical documentation, including engineering drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in design engineering
