Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with production with respect to raising material indents.
- Identifying and developing new suppliers/vendors.
- Vendor development, evaluation and approval in association with our Quality Assurance Department.
- Negotiating with vendors with respect to quality, price and delivery parameters.
- Initiating preventive actions, follow up with suppliers/vendors for delayed supplies.
- Ensuring timely delivery of subcontracted items to workshop/assembly.
- Ensuring that relevant documentation and certificates are received from various suppliers/vendors.
- To provide performance feedback, facilitate improvement of vendor performance.

- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Vendor identification and assessment

- Production planning
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- SAP MM Module knowledge desirable
Job Specifications/Profile:
- BE in Mechanical Qualification
- 10 Years in relevant domain
- Good knowledge of various machining operations viz. boring machine, hobbing, teeth grinding, Cyl. grinding machine, lathe, milling operations etc.
