Position Summary

This position assists in managing the Project Centre group that aggregates public construction bids and bid results. The employee ensures that the department is as thorough and efficient as possible in sourcing and cataloging job opportunities within the Project Centre database. The incumbent works with the local business pubs and the corporate technical team to meet membership goals, and to ensure that the Project Centre meets stated technical objectives. The Project Centre Member is expected to track the performance of department initiatives and provide regular updates to the Publisher. The Project Centre Member also serves as the point person for all membership customer service inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strong computer skills including researching websites and accessing information on the internet; downloading, organizing, and editing PDF and Word documents; strong typing skills. Strong English written and verbal communication skills. This includes providing training to staff members in India and with our premium clients who need assistance. Communication will primarily take place over email with some internal phone/video communications. Database and data entry experience/expertise. This position will help in building our procedures and best practices for data entry. Systems thinker. Someone who can identify patterns, establish routines, and look for efficiencies Strong research skills. Ability to consume a lot of information, then determine and communicate the most important details concisely.

Major Responsibility:

Project Centre reporting/data entry (sourcing and inputting bid/job information). - 35% Supervising, coaching, monitoring, and proofing work of staff. - 35% Providing customer service to members. Acting as the first point of contact for members who need to renew and selling the benefits of membership to potential members of the Project Centre. - 15% Working with the ADM to grow membership. - 15%

Technical Skills:

Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficient use of research websites, internet navigation, and downloading, organizing, and editing PDF and Word documents. Data Entry: Expertise in database management and data entry, contributing to the development of procedures and best practices in this area. Research Skills: Strong research abilities, capable of consuming and summarizing large amounts of information efficiently. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to provide training to staff members in India and premium clients through email, internal phone, and video communications. Systems Thinking: Ability to identify patterns, establish routines, and seek efficiencies within the project management framework.

Human Skills:

Supervision and Coaching: Experience in supervising, coaching, monitoring, and proofing the work of staff. Customer Service: Proficient in providing customer service to members, serving as the first point of contact for renewals, and promoting the benefits of Project Centre membership. Membership Growth: Collaborative work with the ADM to grow membership, contributing to the overall objectives of the department. Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and division leaders. Strategic Thinking: Capacity for strategic thinking, developing long-term visions, and planning social media initiatives aligned with business goals. Adaptability: Ability to stay updated on the latest social media trends and technologies, adapting strategies accordingly. Project Management: Proficient in project management, overseeing the deployment of content and campaigns with attention to detail and quality assurance.

Experience & Qualification:

Demonstrated proficiency in thorough proofreading, backed by a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Strong web research skills, open to Any Graduate, with an added advantage of knowledge in the construction business. Proficient in computer usage, with extensive experience in the MS Office Suite and availability for night shifts. Analytical thinker with adept software skills in Outlook, MS Office, sharing tools, and internet browsing. Experience in team management, identifying training needs, and a background in the construction bidding process. Quick learner with a meticulous approach to tasks.
