Position Overview:
As a Data Specialist at Natch, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our finance and logistics departments. Your primary responsibilities will include recording invoices, coordinating shipments, managing inventory reports, recording sales transactions, and handling basic accounting tasks. This entry-level position provides a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in the dynamic FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Recording:
- Accurately record and verify incoming invoices from suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and maintain a systematic record-keeping process.
Shipment Coordination:
- Collaborate with the logistics team to arrange and monitor timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Maintain communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery processes.
Inventory Management:
- Generate and manage inventory reports to reflect accurate stock levels.
- Assist in periodic stock reconciliations and proactively address discrepancies.
Sales Recording:
- Record and reconcile sales transactions to maintain up-to-date and accurate sales records.
- Work closely with the sales team to verify pricing, discounts, and promotional activities.
Basic Accounting Support:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and basic accounting software.
