Technical Support and Troubleshooting :
- Offer technical assistance to developers, operators, and administrators.
- Skilfully troubleshoot complex issues, diving deep into server logs, analysing patterns, and coming up with effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Manage and analyse logs, ensuring all anomalies are detected and addressed.
Standard and Protocol Expertise :
- Possess and continually develop a thorough understanding of J2EE standards, JDBC configuration, JNDI Directory Services, SOAP, and Webservices.
- Ensure adherence to these standards and protocols in all WebSphere deployments.
Security and Compliance :
- Apply support fixes as required to maintain the integrity and security of the systems.
Additional Skills :
- Familiarity and basic knowledge of IBM MQ 9.0 is desired.
- Ability to integrate IBM Server and IBM Server Plugins seamlessly with the broader WebSphere environment.
Skills and Competencies :
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in analysing server logs and pinpointing issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration and team involvement.
- Dedication to maintaining service availability and system uptime.
- Recommending best practices and performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Should have sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors, and systems administrators.
- Should be able to work independently on P1 issues and prepare RCA documents.'
