Job description

JOB SUMMARY • Analyze data through data mining and data auditing to provide actionable insights to business operations and contribute to setting data strategy • Develop and track key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, patterns, and correlation in cases of complex data sets • Utilize advanced analytics tools to transform data, automate workflows and develop analytical tools • Work effectively with all areas of the business to identify required dashboard visualizations and associated calculations to build dashboards • Technical documentation and process documentation as required for activities within the data workstream • Leverage client applications for demonstration, data modelling and process development with the client implementation team • Provide guidance and training to the account team employees on BI platform • Manage executive stakeholder commitments on various KPIs and data reporting needs across multiple levels, including providing both verbal and written updates to management on the progress of work

Responsibilities The BI Analytics Technical Lead’s responsibilities include leading the engagement with senior stakeholders and technically directing the data mapping, data assessments and analysis, data governance support, POC dashboard development, user acceptance testing, reporting support, opportunity assessments, tabular model support, workplace trend analysis, benchmarking analysis, and general product support for client BI platform. This role will typically be assigned to and responsible for a single large strategic global client, or across multiple/portfolio of medium sized regional C&W client accounts. Primary Duties: • Design, build, implement, and support the client’s BI platform and global data strategy initiatives. • Act as BI/data platform solution architect and design thought leader in data model exercises and integration work, working in collaborative multi-vendor environments. • Define, Design, Develop and oversee Delivery of functional and highly leveraged BI and analytics tools for client’s Real Estate program using client’s BI infrastructure • Support the establishment and operations of the data governance program on the account with support from the Analytics data governance lead • Lead data assessment and data mapping exercises to support system integration projects • Develop the Analytics roadmap with the client and account team including schedule, scope and investment • Partner with the client technology team to understand their technical requirements • Design short term BI solutions to assist with account team reporting needs without impacting the delivery of the long-term roadmap and final solution • Liaise with Client Analytics Platform to ensure dashboard prototype design and build meets business requirements and aligns with the data and tabular model • Proactively analyze the client’s portfolio and provide support in identifying risks and opportunities • Drive continuous improvement in the automation and standardization of data requirements

Qualifications Specific Credentials or Work Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Technology Minimum 13-15 years of experience in the domain (with 7+ years in commercial real estate): • Experience in data architecture, infrastructure and technical design • Experience in business analytics or data visualization software • Experience in data mapping and modelling • Experience in Tableau or Power BI • Experience in ETL tool (Dataiku), others such as Alteryx or Python is a plus • Experience in SQL is preferred • Experience in being part of a software product team or BI product team • Experience in business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development • Experience handling commercial real estate data and cross functional teams is a plus • Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated record of exceeding customer expectations • Solid business acumen: ability to understand and anticipate business needs to provide appropriate solutions • Strong leader with excellent listening, interpersonal, facilitation, written, oral and communication skills; ability to effectively communicate concepts in both technical and user-friendly language to senior management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
