Job description
Simcorp Dimension Support: Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of SCD experience in the Investments industry • Understanding of Investment Accounting Manager • DataWarehouse Manager • Corporate Action Manager • Cash & Securities Manager • Reconciliation Manager • General Ledger Manager • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience; advanced studies/degree preferred • SCD Data Warehouse experience • Strong SQL database querying skills a plus • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake) a plus • Experience with Unix/shell scripting or any scripting/automating experience a plus Role and responsibilities • Strong knowledge and expertise with SimCorp Dimension • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to develop and deliver presentations to multiple types of audiences • Self-starter / independent thinker: demonstrated ambition to take on new roles with increasing responsibility with limited guidance and direction from management • Strong business analysis skills and experience with agile methodologies • Demonstrate ownership of problems, issues, or requests from start to finish. Facilitate appropriate handoffs but track the item through resolution. • Assist all customers and provide production support for SCD Applications and provide batch operation support • Perform all tests on production applications and prepare recovery procedures for all applications and provide upgrade to same. • Coordinate with IT groups and external vendors and ensure effective application services to ensure reliability of all applications. • Analyze all business processes and ensure compliance to all controlled processes according to business requirement. • Actively participates in investigating platform and perform end to end testing if needed. • Monitor and provide support to workflows and provide expert knowledge on all workflow designs. • Provide 24×7 operational support to all production practices on holidays and weekends. • Develop and maintain professional relationships with all customers • Monitor all alerts and escalate all issues for all procedures and systems. • Coordinate with various teams and raise support ticket for all issues, analyze root cause and assist in efficient resolution of all production processes. • Experience in Investment Domian is Must • Good knowledge of batch processing • Good understanding of support environments (ticketing, SLAs, rotas, etc.
