Job description

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for providing overall management of the design, construction and commissioning of a utility scale renewable project throughout India. The PM will be responsible for managing execution of multiple engineering, construction, and/or procurement contracts and shall work with our internal and external teams, and subcontractors, to oversee the design of the project and will work with our on-site Construction Monitoring team to manage and monitor the work. The candidate must have experience managing large, complex construction projects in Solar.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the Project Team sitting at Head Office including the Contractors, the Owner-Engineer, the on-site Construction Monitoring Team and other Project administration staff. The on-site team may include a staff of 7 to 10 persons including site management, safety, logistics, and quality control.
2. Manage multiple construction projects at the same time.
3. Conduct Weekly Meetings including Design Reviews, Coordination with the local Utility and ERCOT, and Site Coordination.
4. Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Progress, Safety and Quality.
5. Manage Construction and Procurement Contracts, Invoices, Change Order Requests, Submittals and RFI's.
6. Prepare Cost Forecast Reports.
7. Assist with pre-construction activities.
8. Assist with the management of the Project Schedule and Schedule Updates.
9. Assist with developing and implementing the Inspection, Testing, and Commissioning Plans.
10. Manage the Interconnection Process and Project Close-Out.
11. Assist with the development and implementation of the Document Controls Processes.
12. Provide Training and Mentoring to the on-site Construction Management Team.
13. Build, foster, and maintain a collaborative working environment within the Project Team.
14. Travel if required to the site to resolve issues and expedite the project.
