Job description
We are looking for an accountable Project Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
Responsibilities - Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
- Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Requirements - Coordinate and monitor the execution and integration of solar project
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SCM, Planning, Operations and Finance to achieve the monthly targets
- Be the single point for execution of solar projects from the survey to installation and commissioning of the plant and integration with Operation Centre
- Establish the monthly target of solar plants in consultation with the HO. Monitor the material planning, dispatch and commissioning to meet the monthly targets
- Candidate must be well versed in the functioning of Solar Power Plants
- Candidate will be responsible for the overall Erection & Maintenance works of the Solar Plant
- Candidate should have a good working knowledge of all the Electrical works in AC/DC side
- Candidate must have good communication skills
- Preferred candidate profile
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering Electrical Or mechanical
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in project management, preferably in the solar/ telecom or energy industries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
