Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Electrical Engineer in Bengaluru. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems. The Senior Electrical Engineer will also be responsible for power distribution and power system analysis.
Qualifications
• Proficient in BIM Revit, BIM 360, Navis, AutoCAD, Software with minimum 5+ yrs. Of experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of exposure to US projects and applicable NEC & NFPA Codes.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience on healthcare, Residential and Commercial Projects.
• Should have design experience in Technology services such as Access control system, Security and DATA system.
• Complete accurate analysis and calculations, for each assigned task, ensuring that all system designs are optimized for performance, efficiency, and safety.
• Supports successful Project Management by Collaborating with colleagues and project managers in proper planning and execution in alignment with client expectations and Project standards.
• Complete timely technical documentation in support of client and project objectives.
• Ensure deliverables meet requirements through clarifying quality, accurate output.
• Proactively seek and engage in diverse experiences and learning opportunities to continually expand knowledge and leadership skills.
• Reviews vendor shop drawings and submittals to assure compliance with specifications.
• Prepares technical specifications for review and approval.
• Collaborates with Field Observation Colleagues to perform field observations and tests, measurements, collect field data, and prepare designs, field reports and related documentation.
• Continually advances technical education and personal development aligned with goals.
• Collaborates with more experienced Engineering and Design Colleagues to prepare basic plan details and outlines, cost estimates, and perform calculations in support of broader engineering activities involving the design of security and technology equipment, components, or systems.
Preparation of detailed Load sheet and main single line schematics.
• Hands-on experience in Data center Building Physical Infrastructure Design, Estimation, projects and operations.
• Transformer/DG sizing, Capacitor Bank sizing, Electrical Panel selection, HT/LT Cable sizing calculations/ Schedule.
• UPS and battery sizing and selection, PDU sizing and selection.
• Short circuit Calculations, Voltage drop Calculations, Earthing Calculations, and Lighting Calculations.
