Job Title:
Speech and Language Pathologist Location: Electronic City, Bengaluru Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Bihang PDC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Key Responsibilities: Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders. Utilize various assessment tools and strategies to identify clients’ specific needs. Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop individualized treatment plans for clients. Implement speech therapy interventions tailored to each client’s needs. Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure effective therapy outcomes. Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support the client’s communication needs. Provide consultation and training to caregivers and educational staff. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest research and developments in speech and language therapy. Participate in continuous professional development and training. Qualifications: MSc SLP/MASLP with 1+ year Exp / BASLP with 3+ years experience Proven experience in speech and language therapy, preferably in a pediatric setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in the use of assessment tools and therapy techniques.
