Strong knowledge and must have hands-on experience on AIX, VIO and HMC2. VIO upgrades/adapter firmware upgrades/VIO failover/maintenance procedures3. HMC updates/frame upgrades/Live partition mobility/DLPAR/troubleshooting HMC issues4. Install and configure AIX operating systems and servers.5. Support AIX OS to run various software applications.6. Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS.7. Develop procedures for AIX security and management.8. Develop performance improvement initiatives for AIX system environment.9. Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner.10. Analyze software and hardware environments to determine any system defects.11. Perform maintenance routines to ensure continuous system availability.12. Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.13. Should be ready to work in 24X7 Shifts14. Flexibility to work outside of Business Hours to support any critical issues15. Knowledge on and ability to follow Incident, Request, Problem and Change Management Process.16. Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities17. Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams
