Job description
Role responsibilities
- Onboarding new clients from the UK based team and ensuring an understanding of the processes for each client and how they might differ from the standard processes
- Management of the local finance team, including ensuring consistent high quality outputs and that required timelines are met, performing the standard Quality Control processes on the work performed
- Performing the Management Accountant role for your clients. This will include:
- Responsibility for the maintenance of client general ledgers, ensuring that all accounting is accurate and sufficient documentation is maintained
- Ensuring revenue is recorded appropriately and maintaining supporting schedules, calculations and documentation
- Leading the month end close process which includes finalisation of the general ledger to the agreed timetable, review of the monthly financial statements and providing explanations for month-on-month changes and any unusual items
- Performance of month end balance sheet reconciliations, including the bank and payroll reconciliations, posting of journals and production of the standard month end close pack and supporting schedules
- Responding to queries from Client CFOs and assisting with the production of the management accounts.
- Assisting with the preparation of short and long term forecasts, such as weekly cash flow forecasts, and the production of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Maintain the process documentation for each of our clients and ensure that they accurately reflect the processes that are being followed
- Identification of potential process improvements and communication of these to the FinOps Manager
- Working collaboratively across the InfiniteCFO team and responding to queries as needed
Qualifications & experience
- ACCA or CIMA qualified
- At least 3 years experience as a Management Accountant
- Previous experience of managing team
- Knowledge of accounting systems (Xero preferably) and associated transaction processing tools
- Competent with Microsoft tools with advanced Excel skills
- Able to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to requests

- Strong time management with the ability to schedule and arrange work to accomplish goals
