Job description
Cloud Technology Architect
Primary Skills:
· Is an expertArchitect in Managing Azure Infrastructure, currently handling multiple clients
· Has a thorough experience in cost optimization Security optimization Operations and drives numbers in Monthly review calls
· Is a expert in migration IAAS services to PAAS services and Implementation troubleshooting knowledge of PAAS services
· Is currently responsible for managing HA solution in current Azure environment, is expected to lead DR runs every year .
· Able to join and lead MI calls technically when required for multiple clients
· Guide Technical engineers Shift leads accordingly .
· Prepare and upload SOPS KB articles on Azure
· Coach team members on newer azure features services
· Has working knowledge of DevopsContainers Kubernetes.
· Expert in AVD solutions. (Implementation and troubleshooting)
· Has a good knowledge on assisting Senior management on SOWs RFPs Critical email communications
· Good scripting knowledge especially Azure w.r.t Powershell
· Has good knowledge of Terraform IAAC.
· Design and implement a robust cloud management implementation including orchestration and catalog capabilities
· Design and implement cloud infrastructure services Hands-on experience using compute, networking, storage, and database Cloud services
· Ability to identify and define technical requirements for an Cloud-based application
· Ability to identify which Cloud services meet a given technical requirement
· Experience in Architecting, designing, migrating workload to Azure / AWS
· Experience with highly scalable and mission critical architectures
· Experience with software deployment and improvement related to automation
· An understanding of the basic architectural principles of building on Azure
· An understanding of network technologies as they relate to Cloud
· Understanding of physical infrastructure and its design principles. Should be able to contribute to Infra related discussions of Cloud (IaaS /Paas).
· Hands on experience with Scripting languages like Powershell
· Understanding of software Defined Networks (SDN) and virtualization
· Working knowledge of Networking (VPN, firewalls, switching, DNS, and Azure networking).
· Exceptional documentation skills and attention to detail for documentation (design documentation, processes/procedures, environment diagrams, etc).
· Compliance - Integrate compliance and data regulatory requirements into all solutions
· Thorough experience in designing and architecting migration of applications to Cloud Infrastructure
· Worked on multiple cloud assessments and related tools for application migration
Certifications Required (any two Preferable)
Security Certification AZ-500 Certification: Azure Security
AZ700: Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer
AZ-300: Azure Architecture Technologies
Roles and Responsibilities
· A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate proficiency with the design, implementation and support of Cloud solutions and exhibit strong project management and communication skills
· Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads
· Understand and document technical requirements from clients
· Define Migration strategy to move application to cloud and execute migration plan
· Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud Network environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc
· Design the Microsoft Azure/ AWS / GCP network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
· Design the HA / DR strategies
· Support product development of SAP on Azure
· Help customer with Network / Security review
· Define Security Guidelines
· Define infrastructure / network layout for customer specific integration
· Set up process, services, and tools around cloud
· Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls
· Assist the team to develop offerings including proven architectures, proofs of concept, and best practices and procedures for deliver
