Responsibilities:
Industrial Relations Perspective:
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to industry-specific regulations and standards, facilitating the certification process for our organization.
- Certification Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in the certification processes specific to diverse industries, staying abreast of updates and changes.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive working environment by addressing employee concerns, disputes, and grievances in compliance with industry norms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate certification requirements into various business processes.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the formulation and implementation of policies that align with industry certification standards.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions for employees and management to enhance awareness and understanding of industry-specific certification requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to certification processes, ensuring all documentation meets industry standards.
- Dispute Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and management, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and recommend improvements to align with industry best practices.
- Investigating and resolving complex or critical industrial relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Managing relationships with unions & ensuring that the Company's treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.
ESH Perspective:
- In depth knowledge and understanding of environmental regulations and laws.
- Must be able to develop environmental management plans that meet all regulatory requirements
- Monitoring compliance with environmental regulations and making sure all employees are properly trained on these regulations.
- To develop health and safety policies.
- Conduct safety Audits
- Investigate the no. of accidents / month and report with measure plan to top management
- Responsible for handling safety precautions and equipment. Coordinating and imparting training to the newly required Trainees.
Role Requirement:
- 7+ Years of experience as an IR & ESH manager.
- Excellent verbal & written English & Marathi communication skills.
- Should have an exposure of dealing with related Government agencies & Unions.
- Should have excellent understanding of health & safety procedures.
- Should have a Bachelors degree. MSW degree is an added advantage.
