Job Title: Digital Music Streaming / Music Streaming
Overview:
The candidate will operate as a liaison between the label team at Times Music, our label's artist roster, and the editorial and marketing teams of the top Indian streaming services. They will oversee the prioritization process and pitching of important releases to DSPs and will use his network to foster stronger ties between the artists and the streaming partners. Their goal will be to deliver the best possible editorial placements, long-tail streaming performance, DSP-related content plans, and marketing and promotional opportunities with the platforms.
Key Objectives of the Role:
- Digital (mainly audio streaming) Revenue generation as per allocated digital streaming targets
- Grow the overall market share of Times Music & its sub catalogues across Indian digital services by ensuring visibility through proper content programming & promotions, marketing initiatives and editorial activities.
- Relationship management with Indian Digital music streaming/short video format stores/services
- Identifying & tapping newer sources of generating Digital revenue
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Ensure monthly & yearly digital streaming revenue targets are met by pitching & hard selling Times Music New releases, best sellers & festival releases to Digital music streaming / OTT partner platforms.
- Placement of Top Selling tracks/New releases in audio streaming playlist across all Indian languages
- Build and nurture strong relationships with the editorial and partner teams at all Indian Digital music streaming/short video format stores/services.
- Track performance metrics on regular basis and share feedback with the Times Music Internal team & its Sub-Licensor's.
- Frequently track position of new releases in the music genre across services.
- Income tracking on a monthly basis v/s revenue target
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends for Domestic Music in India.
- Business development with a keen eye on new digital store/service launches & striking licensing deal with the same for Times Music catalogue. Prospect & hunt for new business.
- Work closely & manage expectations with both Internal and external stakeholders for new releases and ensure optimum placement in editorial playlists and marketing promotions ( Push Notification and Social Media Promotion etc.).
- Sharing monthly MIS with Key stakeholders for each Digital Streaming Platform : Market Share, Monthly Streams, Monthly Revenue, content acceptance and other necessary details.
- Translate data into actionable sale insights.
- Manage & present a sales pipeline and monthly release schedule to all digital stores.
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through networking with Digital Streaming Partners.
